WHAT’S UP? Obama’s Disregard for National Security

Recently, the Russians have had their bombers flying over the Gulf of Mexico. This is the latest incident involving Russian military planes, the others being Russian fighter jets buzzing warships of NATO members, Russian fighter jets flying into NATO airspace, and Russian fighter jets being spotted off the coast of Alaska.

The Russians aren’t the only problem when it comes to national security. On March 15, 2013 (the Ides of March) the Obama Administration shut down the Tethered Aerostat Radar System (TARS) throughout the Southern United States. Translation: there is no longer any air defense for that part of the country. So apparently the Russians are taking advantage of the situation.

In addition, the Southern United States could be infiltrated by terrorists flying low-level aircraft, as would drug cartels or other criminals. Meanwhile, Obama plans to use executive action to grant amnesty to illegal immigrants, a significant portion of them being drug smugglers or terrorists. And there are other threats to national security, particularly China, North Korea, and Islamic Fundamentalism.

Of course, the Obama Administration is not concerned about the dangers posed by these scenarios. Instead, it is more concerned about transforming America, whether it be Obamacare, environmental regulations, Common Core, the War on Obesity, or disregarding the Constitution.

So why is the Obama Administration showing a lack of concern when it comes to national security? Does Obama believe that America deserves to be destroyed (considering his leftist America-hating background)? Or is he wanting another major terrorist attack to occur so he can declare martial law, suspend the Constitution, bypass Congress (it’s bad enough he is already doing that), and exercise full dictatorial powers. He might also unleash the plan of the FEMA camps, and no doubt gun confiscation (never mind the fact that Muslims are more likely to be the actual terrorists as opposed to law-abiding citizens).

Keep in mind the Clinton Administration also had a lack of concern for national security. The size of the military was reduced to perilous levels, not to mention it was treated in a contemptible manner (pay cuts, substandard housing, and humanitarian missions).

America’s enemies (i.e. China, North Korea, Iraq, Iran, Al-Qaeda, and the Taliban) took advantage of Clinton’s ineffective policies. Security measures in various department and agencies were done away with (thus enabling anyone to access confidential information, e.g. nuclear laboratories).

Hopefully when the 114th Congress meets in January, they will take the necessary measures to halt Obama’s disregard for national security.
