Sandy Hook Caused A Media Fire Storm, Slaughtering 100 Kids By Taliban, Eh…Not So Much

Sandy Hook caused a literal media firestorm.

Stations clamored for information.

They raced the competition.

So much so, in fact, that an innocent man was initially identified as the shooter. There were immediate calls for strict gun laws.

The NRA was publicly blamed for the deaths.

So tell me, media, where the Hell are you today? What’s more important? Your cooking segments and award show highlights? Or the senseless murders of more than 100 children in Pakistan today?

That number will likely rise.

The enemy is clearly identified.

A school, the site of an ongoing act of war.

But please, tell me how to make cocktails for my Christmas dinner party.
