TRUE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS? President Takes a Stab at It

The President yesterday at a town hall meeting…

“If we’re serious about the Christmas season, now is the time to reflect on those who are strangers in our midst and remember what it was like to be a stranger.”  Obama said . . . the Christmas season was about a “soon to be mother” and “a husband of modest means” who were looking for a place to stay, but there was no room at the inn.

Funny.  I thought Christmas was about God coming to Earth as a baby to save the world from sin and death.  I had no idea it was about Obama’s executive order to extend amnesty by illegal means.  Silly me.

FYI Mr. Obama:

Joseph and Mary were not illegal aliens breaking the law and spreading disease.  They were citizens of Israel suffering under Roman occupation.  They were not strangers.

They were ordered by the Roman governor to go to their hometown for the census.

Centralized tyrannical power, which you love so much, caused them to travel to Bethlehem, along with a multitude of others. The town was so crowded, thanks to government oppression, there was no room for them at the inn.

A big government program forced a full term woman to ride a donkey 80 miles, a four-day trip, then give birth in a stable.  Sounds like a benefit of ObamaCare come to think of it.

We’ve demonstrated our patience and tolerance of strangers, Mr. Obama.  We’ve put up with you for six years.

We are serious about celebrating the birth of the Savior.  Why don’t you get serious about something other than your selfish ambition, and stop talking down to us, especially about things you do not understand.
