Wow. Whoopi whups some ass on her Hollywood buddies. Go Whoopi.
On Tuesday’s broadcast of ABC’s The View, co-host Whoopi Goldberg chastised both Seth Rogen and Michael Moore for their criticism of the film American Sniper.
Co-host Nicolle Wallace read out tweets from Rogen and Moore where they slammed the movie. Rogen wrote it reminded him of Nazi propaganda in the third act of Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds. Moore tweeted, “We were taught snipers were cowards. Will shoot u in the back. Snipers aren’t heroes. And invaders r worse.”
“Everyone gets to have an opinion because opinions are like buttholes, everyone’s got one,” Goldberg reacted.
“So, you didn’t like the movie, that’s okay,” Goldberg said. “We stood behind you, Seth, when you did your movie. And we said you had the right to make the movie you wanted to make. Give them the same respect.”
“And Michael Moore,” Goldberg said, “you know better.”
