According to the news today, Obama has had a rise in popularity and approval ratings. A random sampling of 1003 adults, came up with an approval rate of 50%, and a disapproval rate of 46%, with a 3.5% margin for error.
Supposedly, it is because of the growth in the economy and a preference for the president over the newly elected Republican freshmen filling the House and Senate this year.
Really? Which 1003 adults did this news source ask?
If the general public has no faith in the representatives they sent to the House and Senate, why did the voting public overwhelmingly send them to Washington?
The world is on fire with the threat of terrorism. No one is safe, and no one takes the United States seriously anymore.
There was fatal embarrassment on the world scene last week when our top leaders just couldn’t be bothered to attend the anti-terrorist rally in France. The administration made do by sending a bouquet….after the fact.
The past year found riots in the streets over race issues.
Race baiting by such as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have widened the gap between the races and has made everyone suspicious of law enforcement and their neighbors.
It has come out that George Soros has had a hand in financing the recent unrest here in America.
It seems his money has recruited protestors and sent them to the streets to vent their spleen against authority. It has made the job of the police more dangerous. It has destroyed infrastructure and privately owned businesses.
Bit by bit, that kind of hate financing has eroded the relationships within the United States.
It has made for a level of friction that did not exist seven years ago.
On top of all these things, we still have no closure or answers on Benghazi, the IRS Scandal, or Fast and Furious, to name a few.
In the last seven years, the numbers and statistics on all the data coming out of Washington has been seriously distorted and contradicted. The media panders to the administration constantly and backs their smoke and mirror approach to the facts.
It is hard to take any kind of report seriously anymore.
This approval rating appears to be no different.
