I thought she was a champion of the middle class?
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, hot on a campaign to seek the presidency of the United States, ate at an Ohio Chipotle restaurant to show her solidarity with the American middle class — and then neglected to leave a tip.
“Her bill was $20 and some change, and they paid with $21 and left without putting anything in a tip jar on the counter,” Charles Wright, the manager at the Maumee, Ohio, Chipotle restaurant told Bloomberg Politics.

“We get a bunch of tips,” said Wright, who only realized that the customer had been the presidential candidate after news organizations began calling the restaurant and he had reviewed surveillance video. “If we’re doing our job right, people tip.”
Well, they don’t always tip, obviously. And in Clinton’s case, the act of not tipping runs against the grain of the image she wants to project — a champion of the middle class.
