Jessa and Jill Duggar were interviewed by Megyn Kelly about the Josh Duggar molestation charges.

Jessa Duggar and her sister Jill appeared on Fox News on Wednesday and sensationally told the world they were sexually assaulted by their older brother Josh, but angrily denied he is a pedophile or rapist.

Conceding she was ‘one of the victims’, Jessa, who is the fifth child of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar strongly defended Josh in the family’s first interview in which it was revealed publicly for the first time that he molested four of his own sisters and a babysitter as a teen.

‘I do want to speak up in his defense against people who are calling him a child molester or a pedophile or a rapist, some people are saying. I’m like that is so overboard and a lie really, I mean people get mad at me for saying that but I can say this because I was one of the victims,’ said the 22-year-old, who is married and expecting her first child.

‘They don’t have a right to do this,’ said a deeply emotional and teary Jill who rounded on the press for what she claims is a campaign against her family. ‘We are victims. They can’t do this to us.’

The sisters are due to reveal more in a one-hour special on Fox News this Friday, June 5th at 9 p.m.

As part of the reality TV family’s efforts to repair its shattered wholesome image, Jim Bob Duggar and his wife Michelle have finally broken their silence nearly two weeks after the scandal first hit the headlines.

Speaking to Megyn Kelly, the couple explained how they were left feeling like ‘failures’ as parents because of Josh’s ‘bad choices’.
