WE ARE NOT ALONE: Gun Show Visit Confirms That Common Sense Still Out There

A local Gun and Knife Show held over the weekend in Fletcher, NC, was a renewal of faith in the silent Conservative majority.

Regardless of the daily, no hourly, “offended,” drama productions by the kum-ba-yah, touchy feely liberals, the mainstream media et al, there are people in the United States who are not stupid.

George Carlin once said, “Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.”
The latest act of said stupid people has been the attack on the Confederate Flag.

Simply because a delusional young man committed an atrocity, blame for said action is put upon his chosen symbol rather than that of his mental illness, or even the person who did WRONG.

As usual, the point was missed by the masses who foamed at the mouth and called for the flag’s demise. It goes over their head that the flag is a heritage and history that cannot be changed, even if these groups would illogically like such historic symbols to be represented by roses and sunshine, rather than hard truth.

The show held booths bearing guns and knives, of course, but there were many representatives of Conservative groups.

These groups were not gnashing their teeth, wailing about unfair, not right, hate, racism or any of the usual tired sounding boards of the left.

They simply put out their information and calmly answered questions. They provided web sites to those who would like to research for additional information about whatever they represented.

Nothing was burned or defaced. Not one person was coerced into joining their cause, called names if they had other views or mistreated in any way. No one was beating anyone up for an opinion. The local policeman checking tickets was respected and he treated everyone with dignity.

The difference in the doctrine of Conservatives versus Liberals is easily explained by a simple analogy.

A very small dog, such as a Chihuahua, will yap loud and long over the smallest infractions.

A larger, more powerful dog will not jump at the first thing it hears.

The reason being that the Chihuahua has nothing to back up himself and his indignation but noise.

A larger dog knows he can bite if necessary.

When one feels like the whole world has gone mad, everyone is rabid and full of hate, and those with the most outrageous thoughts and ideas are a large majority, remember that the Conservative Right is a BIG dog.

However, it will wait to bite until the moment is right and worth the time.

November 2016 will be a very good time to let the big dogs out!
