The Obama administration is quick to go on national TV stating, “that could had been my son,” any time a young black man gets killed by the cops. There are protests, rioting, communities demanding justice, news coverage from every single network, every celebrity giving their condolences, and new trending hash tags. Once the evidence is presented that the individual was in the wrong and the policeman took the correct measurements during the situation, everyone seems to stop with the hash tags and they also stop supporting ‘the cause’.
What happens when one of our own, an elite soldier – a green beret – does the right thing? Well, this is what he did and what our country is doing to help him.
After learning an Afghan boy was raped and his mother beaten, Charles Martland and his team leader confronted a local police commander they had trained, armed and paid with U.S. taxpayer dollars. When the man laughed off the incident, they physically confronted him.
The U.S. Army is kicking out the decorated Green Beret after an 11-year Special Forces career. There is no news coverage, no outrage from the community asking for justice, there are no celebrities starting a hash tag for him, and most shockingly of all, the current administration hasn’t released a statement claiming that SFC. Charles Martland could be his son or that they will try and do everything for him till justice is served.
What kind of message is this administration providing to our communities and future generations?
This is the message: to stand up against the law to defend thugs, criminals, rapists and women beaters, and that rioting and destroying your community is acceptable. But when an American soldier stands up to a terrorist, a child rapist, a pedophile, or a woman beater – the scum of the earth – it’s unacceptable to defend those who are in danger and asking for our help.
It’s disgusting how this administration let an 11-year veteran go, because he stood up for what he and all of us believed what was right! I cant wait to see this administration out!
