Michael Moore is selling his spectacular house on Michigan’s Torch Lake for a $5.2 million.

The filmmaker, who is well-known for courting controversy in his documentaries, has a sprawling seven-bedroom home in Upper Michigan near Traverse City.

The director chose to live close to the city which hosts the Traverse City Film Festival which he founded in 2005.

It’s one of the higher-end properties in the neighborhood, which has been known for having celebrity residents and visitors, including music artists Kid Rock and Eminem.
