SURPRISE, SURPRISE! Collusion and Corruption at the EPA

It’s almost laughable that this is a surprise to anyone, but the proof is more evident than ever. A recent report by the Energy and Environment Legal Institute (E&E Legal) has used information obtained from a Freedom of Information Act request to expose the collusion between Green Energy Groups, like Sierra Club, and the EPA. Green energy activists and lobbyists are shown to be actively involved in writing Green House Gas (GHG) government policy soon to be implemented. The EPA has proven itself to be an ideological wing of the “Green Mafia”. Watch this two minute overview video discussing the report.

Hillary Clinton isn’t the only one with private emails and missing servers. Apparently, the IT department in this administration is a “Junior Varsity” team, because the EPA has the same problem as the State Department. They’ve got officials who used private secret email accounts, entirely lost emails, and been less than forthcoming with others. Michael Goo, former green group lawyer, now tapped by the EPA to actually write the new global warming rules that will regulate greenhouse gases, has used his private email account for his nefarious actions. Goo has turned over only a few of the emails requested. Even from those emails a smoking gun of collusion between the EPA and private, agenda-driven green groups has emerged. Goo directly discussed with Sierra Club lobbyist, John, Coequyt, how to create rules for America’s electric utilities that were not achievable. This collusion is illegal. This administration and the EPA has proven itself not to care about the means to the end when it comes to legality.

The desire to make renewable energy sources viable is not the goal. The goal has shown itself to be to take out the opposition. Even if the opposition is an entire industry built on our most abundant natural resource. The Goo emails go on to clearly show the desire to crush the coal industry and shift the wealth of America to green energy no matter how poorly it performs. The emails go so far as to specifically discuss individual coal plants, detail a concerted effort to stop them from obtaining permits, and a desire to close existing plants and stop all new ones from coming to fruition.

The war on coal is real. Coal is our most abundant natural resource and our number one source of energy. The technology to burn it cleanly exists and is being implemented. At current usage levels we have enough coal to provide power for America for about 230 years. The Green Mafia is a fitting name for the green groups because they seek to form alliances of power and squelch their opposition through any means necessary, legal or not. Green groups colluding with the EPA are actively out to hurt America by crushing an industry that provides millions of jobs to Americans to keep the lights on!

The EPA is on a mission to bankrupt coal, systemically cause electricity rates to soar finally making renewables profitable, and enrich themselves in the process. As Gomer Pyle would say…surprise, surprise. It can be disheartening when corruption and collusion are so rampant. It seems that every way we turn we see more of it. The public trust is broken.

The EPA needs to be sent back to the drawing board. They need to write policy without collusion to pick the winners and losers of American industry. If green energy is so good, then why not go head-to-head with their competition and win the day? Because they can’t. So the only other way to win is to use the power of position and wield our government as a weapon. This latest report proves what many have suspected for a long time. The EPA has nothing to do with the environment and everything to do with power and control.
