BARACK’S WACK PRIORITIES: Are They Intentional or Just Messed Up?

Does Obama know what his priorities are, or does he have them all screwed up? With all the problems going on in the United States (and the rest of the world for that matter), Obama does not seem to care on what is important and what is not. Here are a few examples.

— After being elected, he was being interviewed, and one of the questions was what he would do regarding college football’s postseason (Bowl Championship Series or playoff system). He replied that he was in favor of a playoff system. You would think that the media (no matter how they love Obama) would come up with better questions as to what issues are important.

— Whenever a famous person comes out of the closet, Obama calls that person to congratulate him or her. Obviously Obama does this to show how committed he is to gay rights, because congratulatory phone calls should not be a high priority for the White House (no matter what the reason). And whose idea was it for him to call and congratulate those people who come out of the closet anyway?

— ESPN devoted time to show Obama working on his brackets for March Madness. Granted he makes his picks like anyone else, but considering his position, he should just take a few minutes to fill out his brackets, then focus on running the country. And there is no need to televise it.

— Recently on his trip to Alaska, Obama decides to change the name of North America’s highest mountain from Mount McKinley to Denali. This action is unconstitutional because the authority for such a name change lies with Congress, not the White House. Why aren’t the members of Congress who criticized him on this matter calling for his impeachment (especially since he has violated the Constitution on other occasions)?

— Even more recently, a teenager named Ahmed Muhammad brought a homemade clock to school, the teachers thought it was a bomb, and he was arrested. After it was revealed it was indeed a clock, he was released. Amidst all the controversy (accusations of torture, prejudice against Muslims, and the possibility that he did not even build the clock), Obama decides to get right in the middle of the situation and invites the kid to the White House. I wonder if this matter was actually a publicity stunt by Ahmed and his family so they can claim they are victims of religious persecution.

Needless to say, Obama needs to get his priorities in order. But he must still think he is the honey badger, and thus he does not care when it comes to priorities (or the Constitution for that matter).
