A Colorado woman who was ‘extremely upset’ about the recent loss of officers across the country went into a police station to hug a cop.
The unidentified woman went to the Lake Arbor Police station on Monday where Officer Chris Steiner, a 20-year veteran of the Arvada Police Department, was the recipient of the kind gesture, ABC7 reported.
The Arvada Police Department shared the touching story from its dispatch center on its Facebook page on Labor Day.
‘What a wonderful day to be working!! We had a lovely citizen come into our Lake Arbor station who was extremely upset about the recent loss of so many officers across the country,’ the police department wrote on Facebook.
