A county clerk in Kentucky is arrested and jailed for violating the law with regards to issuing marriage licenses. A former Secretary of State who everyone knows illegally used a private email server to conduct official business — classified and otherwise – isn’t behind bars but rather is the Democrats leading contender for the Presidency.
There are moves afoot to ban large size sodas — as though no one would ever think to purchase two smaller sized sodas — for fear that the sugar contained within will make people fat. At the same time, marijuana legalization is rampant and the health concerns associated with it remain absent from the public debate.
A former Democrat business mogul now running as a Republican signs a pledge for the RNC. This mogul is supposed to be the un-politician. His signature on that pledge though represents the product of those closed-session, back-room deals career politicians are loathed for.
#BlackLivesMatter turned violent and it’s a huge shocker to most major league media outlets. Don’t all things liberal eventually devolve into chaos and violence — even the summer of love 1967 gave way to murder at Altamont in 1969. However, any time there is even a hint of gun violence anywhere, the knee-jerk reaction is to assume that a conservative was behind the trigger.
$15 is the demanded new minimum wage. Protesters in the streets demanding it are activists paid much more than $15 an hour by labor unions headed up by people like Trumka that make well into the six and seven figures.
The left prefers to call themselves liberal and progressive. What’s liberal or progressive about an agenda that hasn’t changed since the 1930s, and that serves to regulate individual Americans into the narrowest of social corners?
