MORE PROOF: That Donald Trump Is a Progressive in Conservative’s Clothing

Yes, it was a long time ago (11 years specifically) when Trump said he was a Democrat. People do go through ideological conversions (yours truly included). Maybe that can’t be counted on as an indicator of his
progressive bent.

But then recently, he was interviewed on Fox News. During that interview he essentially echoed Barack Obama in saying that the rich should pay more because they have more to pay in taxes. There’s an old Karl Marx quote that could be brought up here but moving on…

Trump’s “anchor baby” comments were fine. It was good to see someone not go for knee-jerk political correctness. Then again, anyone can appear brash and “in your face”. Brash, in your faceness, is why Elvis, The Rolling Stones, Ozzy Osbourne, punk rock, much of the rap industry, all were or are successful enterprises.

Most recently though, he did the same thing Hillary’s been known to do. He kicked a reporter out of a press conference. Granted, Hillary doesn’t do real press conferences and her method of kicking reporters out isn’t quite as public as Trump’s (Hillary’s tactics have been well documented by the New York Times…it’s a Hotel California type of thing where a reporter can check in to the event, forfeit his/her tools of the trade, and never leave, not even for a bathroom break, without the permission of a Hillary handler). It’s so very progressive of him to flee a debate when it’s presented to him at face value in a public forum.

He might as well just have cried racism and attached a hashtag to the whole thing.
