Current events have provided several excellent case studies of Stage 2 (I would have said “textbook examples,” but I didn’t want you to think this was part of a boring text book and stop reading). They also highlight the fact that many Americans are living in a bizarre, Truman Show, alternate “reality,” created by the media, in which incontrovertible facts, unknown to them, are never mentioned, so as to continue a charade, allowing them to live in blissful ignorance and allowing the democrat operatives masquerading as “journalists” to deceive and manipulate them.
Otherwise, could a thin-skinned, narcissistic hard-wired radical leftist/empty suit with zero accomplishments other than above-average TelePrompTer-reading skills successfully campaign for president, saying things like “above my pay grade”? Would a world-class reprobate like Bill Jefferson, aka “BJ”, Clinton not be only well received by polite society, but paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for his inane speeches? He’d be wearing a bag over his head when he slunk around in public, and an ankle bracelet on home monitoring the rest of the time, which come to think of it, is where he will be if Hillary doesn’t drop out of the race one step ahead of an indictment.
Consider three recent examples of “news” stories, in which liberals put on a clinic on Feigned Moral Outrage.
Muslim Question Guy Does Bad Standup at Trump Town Hall, Hilarity Ensues
At a New Hampshire town hall, an unidentified guy, appearing to be doing a poorly-written and very awkward standup routine, says America has a problem called Muslims and says that Obama is one, or as liberals have been saying, “accuses” Obama of being a Muslim. Mr. Trump wisely sidesteps what appears to be a setup question. The media erupts into Salem-style witch hunt, which amazingly does not include Hillary Clinton or Valerie Jarrett, determined to root out anyone who might not enthusiastically swear to Barack Obama’s Christianity and his American citizenship.
Interviews with Republican candidates turn into inquisitions, in which the interrogators refuse to cease until the perp cracks under their line of questioning. (Now these candidates know how Sir Thomas More must have felt.) Meanwhile, these “journalists” don’t have the slightest interest in the Obama Regime’s plan to infest our country with potential members of ISIS and future Tsarnaevs, Russia’s latest Syrian adventures, or the economy’s continued stagnation. Screw that nonsense! Do you believe President Obama is a Christian, Sir? YES OR NO?!!
Hillary Clinton, Commander of Bimbo Eruption Squad and Former First Enabler, Scolds Trump for UnPresidential Behavior
Inspired by the furor over Muslim Question Guy, Hillary Clinton suggests that she is outraged (natch) that Donald Trump didn’t defend the Dear Reader against the “accusation,” and says that he doesn’t know how to act like a president.
Hillary Clinton on How to Act Like a President? That sounds like one of those jokes about the world’s shortest books, like The World Leader’s Guide to Protecting Civil Rights by Fidel Castro or Speeches I Wouldn’t Make for Money by Bill Clinton, but I’ll play along. Let’s see …Chapter 1: How to Diddle an Intern in the Oval Office; Chapter 2: How to Lie Under Oath; Chapter 3: How to Sell Military Secrets to the Chinese for Campaign Contributions; Chapter 4: How to Delete Email So It’s Really Deleted. Oh, wait …that last one is real, a chapter from a book that Hillary purchased, just another illustration of why it’s so difficult to distinguish between the real “news” and The Onion today.
It’s obvious that Hillary Clinton violated the Espionage Act to cover up her role in the murder of four Americans in Benghazi by terrorists on the anniversary of 9/11. She spent several days lying about it right after their deaths, and even stood next to their coffins, blaming the killings on an internet video that no one saw, and that she knew had nothing to do with it. In any rational universe, these facts would disqualify her from consideration for any important position of trust or authority, yet our media presents her as a credible person. In a more recent example, Mrs. Clinton, the leader of the squad created to intimidate, threaten and silence women who accused her husband of sexual harassment, or even rape, sanctimoniously declared the “right” of sexual assault survivors to be believed. The simpering media swooned, acting like it would be impolite to mention those women who accused Bill Clinton. Truman Show, anyone?
Dr. Ben Carson Dares to Express His Opinion on Desirability of Muslim President
During one of his many interrogations, Dr. Ben Carson has the audacity to say that he would not advocate that a Muslim be President of the United States. That same Truman Show media is on the case, distorting the good doctor’s statement, claiming that he said a Muslim isn’t “qualified” to be president. He never said that, but no matter. Turning off the Fake Outrage Machine is like un-ringing a bell, which is impossible to do even if the ringer wanted to, which they don’t. I warned on Sunday that his common sense reply to Chuck Todd’s stupid and pointless question would turn into a three day “news” feeding frenzy. These people are way too predictable.
I also said on this edition of The Teri O’Brien Show that I agree with Dr. Carson, but it may be too late. That ship may have sailed, if you get my drift. I hope that last suggestion won’t set off the Fake Outrage Machine.
