This woman noticed something about what was stamped on her hand at this popular bar in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Is she justified?
So it is at a Baton Rouge, Louisiana, bar known as Reggie’s, who stamp the hands of their customers with the word “Reggin,” which they have used to stamp hands for over 10 years, according to The Grio. The manager called the word “slang for going to Reggie’s.”
Unfortunately, when LSU freshman student Taylor Ward decided to go to the bar, she took great offense to the stamp that was placed on her hand.
“The bar stamped our hands at the door, and shortly after I noticed that the stamp spelled ‘n*****’ backwards. I immediately showed my friends,” she explained. “We decided to bring it to the manager’s attention. However all he had to say was, ‘It’s a stamp,’ so we left.”
“I was really shocked. What upset me the most is that it was blatantly disrespectful and it was obvious that the design of the stamp was intentional,” she added.
