I say we return the favor and never watch another one of his goofy gore flicks ever again.
Quentin Tarantino has finally responded to the firestorm that’s been brewing since he criticized police officers at a rally last weekend, and he says he won’t be “intimidated.”
“All cops are not murderers,” Tarantino told The Los Angeles Times on Tuesday. “I never said that. I never even implied that.”
The award-winning director was disputing what he called “a misrepresentation” of his speech at a New York City protest last Saturday, in which he said, “When I see murders, I do not stand by.”
“I have to call a murder a murder, and I have to call the murderers the murderers,” he had then said to the crowd.
Now, he says, “What they’re doing is pretty obvious.”
