Here was a headline from The Hill today:
“Obama Warns: Discrimination against Muslims helps ISIS”
That’s what you’re talking about? That’s what concerns you? This alleged “discrimination” against Muslims?
First off, there will always be jerks in the world who discriminate against other people. It is what it is; suck it up and drive on.
But Obama has spent the last seven years dividing the country and encouraging discrimination against Americans, the American way of life, and American values. He has done this while apologizing to everyone and everything he can get his hands on, always on “behalf of America.” I’m halfway surprised that he hasn’t apologized to the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean for America being in the way and not allowing them to meet up somewhere in the Rockies.
Second, Obama acts as though people who would like to prevent America from importing terrorism are just being discriminatory jerks.
And as much as Obama wants them to be jerks in order to have a new villain to further divide the country, the problem is that they are not.
I know. I am one of them.
I didn’t think that importing Syrian refugees into our country and culture from 10,000 miles away was ever a good idea even before the Paris and San Bernardino attacks, and it sure as hell still doesn’t sound like a good idea. Yet, Obama’s insistence on this idea being the, like, totes awesomest thing EVAH, is patently ridiculous.
I think that giving ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) credibility by repeatedly referring to them as ISIL (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) is a grave mistake. This elevates a terrorist group from merely a “group” to a near-world power. “The Levant” encompasses Israel, “Palestine,” Sinai, Lebanon, and parts of Jordan and Turkey. Referring to ISIS as ISIL gives credence to their claims on these locations. It does not follow that the president would give them legitimacy.
Pretending that ISIS (or even ISIL) isn’t Islamic is the height of idiocy. “Islamic” is in their name. Islam (and a hatred for everything not-Islam) is the one thing that they all have in common. It is their doctrine.
Pretending that Islam isn’t the common denominator and the driving force of ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Boko Haram and nearly every other terrorist organization in the world is willfully ignorant and can only be driven by a hidden agenda.
Given all of this, it stands to reason that it might be prudent to hold Muslims at an arm’s length. Maybe it would be a good idea to stop importing more Muslims at this particular moment. Maybe it would be a good idea to re-examine the Muslims who are already here, especially those with terrorist ties. It might be a good idea to investigate mosques with terrorist ties. It might be a good idea to investigate CAIR (Center for American-Islamic Relations), the anti-American, pro-Islam organization with actual ties to terrorism.
Pretending like the Koran doesn’t say, “Kill the infidels and slay them where they live” and that there are thousands of people out there doing just that is morally reprehensible.
I’m sitting here watching the Army/Navy game and a news announcement just came on in which Obama was talking about how more than 200 countries just signed an agreement so that “we can save the one planet that we have.”
Terrorism is real. Man-caused Global Cooling/Global Warming/Climate Change/Whatever We’re Calling It This Week is not.
On April 18, 2015, Obama stated, “Wednesday is Earth Day, a day to appreciate and protect this precious planet we call home. And today, there’s not greater threat to our planet that climate change.” He and his administration have repeatedly stated and/or implied this.
Obama’s administration is a ship of fools. They are “fighting” a non-existent Climate Change “problem” and ignoring the very real threat of terrorism — and the safety and security of the American people are paying the price for it.
The feelings of Muslims should not be a concern of Obama or any of his lackeys. The safety and security of the American people should be the primary concern of Obama and company.
As Stacey Dash recently said on FoxNews (and got suspended for two weeks because of it), “It’s like he doesn’t give a sh#t.”
