In hiring people, the best indicator of future performance is past behavior. That is why successful hiring managers learn as much as they can about the past behaviors of applicants, all job-related of course.
The same principle should apply to immigration.
Anyone applying for asylum, work permits, or citizenship should be scrutinized accordingly. Their past behaviors should be thoroughly identified and evaluated. Taking things on faith is too risky, inviting catastrophe, and so it is in Europe these days.
Vast migrations of people from the Middle East and from Northern Africa are putting pressure on European countries in a variety of ways. In Great Britain, Belgium, France, Germany and Scandinavia, violent terrorism is epidemic, street violence is almost out of control, mass shooting events are happening frequently, the rape of European women and girls is happening at unbelievable rates frequented by death and lifelong injury. Islamic supremacy is the thinking driving these behaviors.
Jihadists are very clear about their aims and their methods, and have been for decades, even centuries. So foreign are these ideas and behaviors to the Western mind, most people have decided they cannot possibly be real, and thus, as they dismiss the clear evidence, they rationalize their confused thinking with notions of multiculturalism and political correctness.
Out of the goodness of their hearts, or this foggy thinking, Europeans have essentially thrown open their borders, despite warnings that terrorists are migrating along with genuine refugees. Instead of taking into consideration the past behaviors of Jihadists—either active militants, or passive supporters–Europeans have tried the blanket amnesty approach, and they are paying a very high price for that decision. Most recently, German women on New Year’s Eve throughout the country, where robbed and molested by gangs of Muslim males, the thanks Germans received for taking in one million migrants in 2015. Happy New Year.
Western minds still have not faced glaring realities: Muslim men look down upon women, generally speaking, especially Western women; the Islamic worldview essentially condemns non-Muslims; the tradition of violence in Islam and the impulse to world domination are inescapable; overall, there is little if anything in common between Islam and the West.
Thus, throughout Europe today, what the West sees as an effort to help refugees, Jihadists see as an opportunity to conquer. Migration, combined with extraordinary rates of reproduction, all funded by social welfare programs, combine to form a conquering force eclipsing any invading army.
Until Europeans face that reality and respond in self-defense to preserve their cultures, those cultures will collapse. They will be swept away and replaced by the most virulent theocracy ever known. Many European leaders have awakened to the threat and they are taking measures: restricting immigration, deporting criminals, surveilling mosques, conducting raids, arresting suspects, confiscating weapons, breaking up networks and confronting the rhetoric and the street riots.
In America, the government is European-minded, backward thinking, oblivious to the past behaviors of Jihadists, and so we face the same horrific outcomes, unless more rational minds prevail. The only thing that will do is an unapologetic and wide-ranging response at home and aboard, for our very existence depends on it.
