One of the Republican candidates in the race to replace Rep. Randy Neugebauer (R-TX) as U.S. Representative in the 19th Congressional District of Texas has a history of making political donations to political action committees (PACs) that made contributions to Wendy Davis and other Democrat candidates.
Records obtained by Breitbart Texas from the Texas Ethics Commission show that candidate Greg Garrett donated money to PACS that supported Democrat candidates. Those PAC’s include donations to the Texas Association of Realtors PAC and the Independent Bankers Association PAC.
During a period beginning in 2001 and running through 2010, Garrett made at least thirteen donations totaling $2,663 to the Texas Association of Realtors PAC. During that period, the PAC made donations totaling over $2 million to candidates including Democrats Wendy Davis, Dawna Dukes, Yvonne Davis, Rodney Ellis, Juaquin Castro, Rafael Anchia, Carol Alvarado, Jessica Farrar, Eddie Lucio, Trey Martinez-Fischer, Joe Pickett, Ron Reynolds, Senfronia Thompson, Sylvester Turner, Carlos Uresti, Leticia Van de Putte, John Whitmire, Judith Zaffirini and many others.
