In a recent interview, Newt Gingrich called out Obama for his messed up priorities — and we couldn’t agree more.
In an interview Monday morning with the Independent Journal Review, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich dropped the mic on President Obama for his failure to attend Scalia’s funeral while simultaneously announcing his planned trip to Cuba:
Well, this is one of the great challenges that President Obama has, which I think he illustrated his feelings by spending 30 seconds at Scalia’s wake while announcing the same day he was going to Cuba. Because propping up a communist dictatorship was important, but seeing an American justice at his funeral wasn’t important.
It was the first time in 63 years that a president has not gone to the funeral of an active justice who died in office.
