ADIOS, MARCO: Rubio’s Numbers Are Sagging in Florida Like a Glue Mule’s Gut

Marco Rubio is getting slammed by Donald Trump in his own home state, and he isn’t the only one. Trump has a huge lead over the other candidates as well. Check out his numbers…

Donald Trump is at least 20 points ahead in Florida two new polls show, with home state Sen. Marco Rubio dropping to third place in one of the new surveys.

CBS News released new numbers this morning that show Trump with 44 percent support.

For the first time since January, and just two days before the Sunshine State’s pivotal primary, Ted Cruz snuck into second place receiving 24 percent from Florida’s Republicans.

Rubio got 21 percent.

In an NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll that also came out today, Trump was 21 points ahead, with 43 percent support.

Rubio came in second with 22 percent while Ted Cruz was directly behind him with 21 percent support from the Florida’s GOP likely voters.

While Rubio and Cruz’s numbers were within both polls’ margin of error, today’s surveys suggest that voters could be starting to look at the Texas senator as the best bet against frontrunner Trump.

Cruz is seeing positive movement in the two other CBS surveys too – Ohio and Illinois.
