ANNE ARBOR, MI — A man accused of spraying produce with a concoction of rat poison and hand sanitizer at several grocery stores has been arrested.
The FBI says the man tried to poison food products at stores in Michigan.
Officials say he also sprinkled the liquid onto the food carts.
Federal authorities say the man admitted to spraying the mixture onto exposed food at three Ann Arbor stores over the last two weeks. Investigators believe a dozen other stores may have been targeted.
