An infant died after being left inside a car in the sweltering heat.
Police in Des Moines, Iowa say this man 35-year-old Lance Williams went to a barber shop but left his 6-month-old alone in the car for what they’re calling an extended period of time.
When Williams went back to the car, he saw the child and rush his baby to the hospital. The heat index reached about 95 degrees that day, meteorologists report.
Williams was arrested with bail set at $25,000.
