Does Justice ‘Rigging Ruth’ Bader Ginsburg’s Attack on Trump Prove Rigged System?
The nation’s voters are well aware of Donald Trump’s clarion call to the nation to “Make America Great Again”. It seems that there is one voter who not only disagrees with the presumptive GOP presidential nominee but, like Crooked Hillary, is hell-bent on assuring that she throws her partisan two-cents into the electoral mix. The only problem is that voter is sitting Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Every presidential political primary season can be very combative and typically the political bombs that are thrown around originate from the participants in the ring of battle. The judicial system’s jurists may have strong opinions concerning the candidates but judicial ethics prevent them from intervention. Well, that was true until now.
Justice Ginsburg entered the field of battle in an adversarial way that she had to hope would tip the scale toward her candidate Hillary “I got a FBI stay out of jail pass” Clinton. When FBI Director James Comey made the decision to not submit Hillary for Justice Department criminal indictment Americans knew that the system was rigged. Ginsberg’s statements of contempt for Trump had a pile on factor of ten.
Ginsburg’s public condemnation of Trump was targeted at her political hero’s base and all those independents and Senator Bernie Sanders who are uneasy about Hillary Clinton as the Democrat presidential nominee. Ginsburg stressed, “I can’t imagine what this place would be — I can’t imagine what the country would be — with Donald Trump as our president,” She added, “For the country, it could be four years. For the court, it could be — I don’t even want to contemplate that.”
Was this an exercise of her free speech right or an effort to undermine the political system? If Ginsburg wanted to entertain the nation with her political notions concerning Trump, then she should have stepped down from her SCOTUS bench first. Justice should be impartial and if Trump is elected President, how can Americans feel any degree of comfort knowing that Ginsburg has placed a legal target on his administration’s back?
So now the nation has Crooked Hillary and “Justice Rigging Ruth” in the political mix.
Of course Trump was swift to condemn her unprofessional comments. He called for her immediate resignation; even her liberal friends at the New York Times did not support her actions. Trump stated, “I think it’s highly inappropriate that a United States Supreme Court judge gets involved in a political campaign,” and added, “frankly, I think it’s a disgrace to the court and I think she should apologize to the court. I couldn’t believe it when I saw it.”
Trust me, the nation may not have believed that a Supreme Court Justice would interject partisan politics that were targeted toward a candidate until perhaps 2016. This has not been a typical year and certainly the Donald has not proven to be a typical presidential candidate. He says what he means and he is laser focused on making America great again. That definitely upsets the political, and now judicial, elite of Washington D.C.
The billionaire businessman has peeled back the rotten layers of Washington insider activities and revealed during the campaign than the little guy in America’s heartland has no fighting chance to have their voice heard. The well has been poisoned and the Washington cartel members like Justice Ginsburg are desperate to keep Hillary and her ilk in power and in control.
Her ill-advised assault upon Trump may have only added to his campaign and his convention nomination. Perhaps that is why, the aged jurist made the decision to issue a lukewarm apology. According to NBC News, she admitted, “On reflection, my recent remarks in response to press inquiries were ill-advised and I regret making them.”
Translated she meant, “I got caught and I only regret that I got caught.” She is like the small child who has icing smeared all over her face after pilfering a frosted cookie from a jar. And like Steve Urkel, says, “Did I do that?”
Let’s trust her true feelings and take her at her original word when she said during the New York Times interview, saying jokingly that if Trump were elected she would move to New Zealand. America could only be so lucky.
