The activist group has said some really nutty things in its day, but has ANYTHING topped THIS?
The NAACP is now involved in the Charlotte shooting death of Keith Scott. (Which, if they’ve been following the LATEST NEWS they might want to SERIOUSLY re-think. No, really.)
Unsurprisingly, they are assuming guilt on the part of the police in Charlotte and demanding IMMEDIATE change of something for … some reason.
The police force is racist, apparently.
Now a rational person might raise an objection at this point, considering that the young cop who drew and fired at Keith Scott was himself a black man.
A rational person would raise such an objection. But we are not accusing NAACP of relying on rational arguments. You’ll want to sit down before you read this next part:
“Many black people who become police officers become blue, not black,” the organization said Tuesday. “In order for you to survive in a police department, you take on the police department’s ideology, ways of life, and culture.”
Instead of defending an ex-con that attacked a police officer and insulting minority police officers throughout this country that are making a difference in their community, the NAACP should commend Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Officer Brentley Vinson.
Vinson, a 26 year old police officer, graduated from Liberty University and played football at the School. He ran a popular bible study group and was touted by his coaches as a man of integrity and character.
If only the NAACP could display the same integrity and encourage minorities to join law enforcement, all of us would be much better.
Apparently, to the NAACP, there is some ‘magical’ transformation where someone who was born black can become something else. Kind of like this:

Isn’t the ENTIRE premise of racism that ethnicity is as much a part of you as your height or shoe size, and you are not able to change it? Isn’t that why discrimination based on race is such a bad thing?
And now race can just ‘disappear’ because of what you do for a living?
What about the President in such a ‘White’ work environment. Has his ‘Blackness’ disappeared, swallowed up in the WHITE House? Maybe he’s just a better person than the black men and women in uniform? Even though many of them had TWO black parents, and Obama only had one?
Does anyone ELSE think the NAACP is beyond Ridiculous?
