In Paris, France, thousands of people held a protest calling for the repeal of a law which allows same-sex marriages. The number of protesters vary from 24,000 to 200,000. Such a protest must have raised more than a few eyebrows due to the number of people who have participated, as well as the fact that France is predominantly secular (and liberal). Perhaps France’s secularism and liberalism are too much for some of its citizens, especially since the presidential elections are a few months away.
Miley Cyrus has now described herself as pansexual. For those of you who are not familiar with the term pansexual, I will explain what it means. When someone is pansexual, that means he or she has a sexual attraction, romantic feeling, or emotional attraction towards people regardless of their gender. So basically it is a form of bisexuality, the difference being that pansexual individuals are attracted to those who do not identify themselves as male or female (whereas bisexual people are attracted to both men and women). In addition, Miley Cyrus is dissing Donald Trump, which is no surprise since many celebrities also have negative views of him.
As for Donald Trump, several women have now claimed he has committed acts of sexual harassment or sexual assault against them. The question (which has been brought up by a few people) is why now? Why did all these women wait until now to make these accusations? Why did they not make these accusations against the Donald when he first announced his bid for the White House (or when these incidents allegedly occurred)? It appears that these accusations are false, a “war on women” tactic that the Democrats like to rely on. It also seems the Clintons are desperate to draw attention from their own various scandals (ranging from sexual transgressions to crimes they committed to anti-Catholic prejudices among their staffers). Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton is in hiding — no doubt the scandals surrounding her and those associated with her have her hiding from the media, the same media that is actually trying to help get her elected.
Finally, I want to remind everyone that the Presidential Election is not the only election going on this year. There are Congressional elections going on, as well as various state and local elections. So be sure to review all the candidates thoroughly before you decide on who to vote for.
