Hollywood elitists sniffed that if Hillary lost they’d take their toys and move. Ok, guys! Let’s help you with your packing!
1. Jon Stewart
Stewart, who made a splash with his Comedy Central satirical ‘News’ program ‘The Daily Show’, has made a career of poking fun at those on the Right.
‘I would consider getting in a rocket and going to another planet, because clearly this planet’s gone bonkers.’
Watch him on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on November 7:
2. Chelsea Handler
Handler is a comedian who says she wants to move to Spain because Trump’s win was anti-feminist.
Here she backs down so she can stay in the US and ‘fight for Hillary’ — or ‘in Hillary’s honor’ — or ‘in Hillary’s memory’ — or something:
‘I did buy a house in another country just in case, so all of these people that threaten to leave the country and then don’t, I will leave the country.’
3. Neve Campbell
Campbell is a Canadian actress that moved to the US to seek her fame and fortune. She’s just planning on repatriating.
His honesty is terrifying.
4. Barry Diller
Diller is the founder and chairman of IAC Interactive. He has said that Trump is a ‘Self-promoting huckster that has found a vein’.
‘If Donald Trump doesn’t fall, I’ll either move out of the country or join the resistance.’
5. Lena Dunham
Dunham is a
partisan hack comedian that will do or say just about anything to extend her 15 minutes of fame. She is the creator of the HBO horror show comedy-drama Girls.
‘I know a lot of people have been threatening to do this, but I really will.’
6. Keegan-Michael Key
The Key & Peele star has said he’d move to Canada just across the border from Detroit.
‘It’s easy. It’s like 10 minutes from Detroit and that’s where I’m from.’
7. Chloë Sevigny
Sevigny is an actress and a former model. She was asked if she would move if Trump were elected, and her response was simple. Perhaps she had been visiting the Cape Breton visitor website that was set up for just such occasions.
8. Al Sharpton
Sharpton, a ‘minister’ and professional race-baiter complains about ‘divisiveness and bigotry’ of Trump. Saying he’d move was all just a joke.
Watch him renege here:
If Donald Trump is the nominee, I’m open to support anyone, while I’m also reserving my ticket out of here if he wins.
9. Natasha Lyonne
The actress, known for her role in Orange is the New Black has said that it would be crazy to have Trump as President, so she’d check herself into a mental institution.
Fun fact: Lyonne also is set to star in a Hillary documentary also titled Orange is the New Black. (Just kidding!)
‘[I’ll move] to a mental hospital for a while because you’re like ‘why is this happening?’
10. Eddie Griffin
Griffin, a comedian known for his eponymous role in Malcolm & Eddie, has said he’d move to Africa.
‘He’s good at making money, but he’s ignorant…If Trump wins, I’m moving to Africa.’
11. Spike Lee
Lee is a prolific director, writer, actor, and producer. He covers black culture and ‘race relations’ in his films.
We’re not sure what to make of this one…
‘[I’ll be] moving back to the republic of Brooklyn, New York’
12. Amber Rose
Rose, a model, said that she would leave the US, but doesn’t specify where.
‘I can’t even think about it! I’m moving, I’m out! I can’t. And I am taking my son with me!’
13. Samuel L. Jackson
Jackson, who was actively involved in the Civil Rights Movement, hasn’t shied away from stating his political views.
Watch him as the ‘Hateful 8 Ball’:
The opinionated singer has said she’s not even staying on this planet.
‘IF HE WERE TO BE ELECTED, IM MOVING TO JUPITER >:|’
15. George Lopez
Comedian George Lopez said that he’d head back over the southern border.
‘If he wins, he won’t have to worry about immigration, we’ll all go back.’
16. Barbra Streisand
The vocal left-wing singer is heading to America lite.
‘He has no facts. I don’t know, I can’t believe it. I’m either coming to your country [Australia], if you’ll let me in, or Canada.’
Proving that you don’t need 2 brain cells to rub together to get the job as a host on The View, Symoné says that if any Republican is nominated she’s leaving. Note: She already has her ticket. Maybe she realized that LOTS of Republicans were ‘nominated’. Probably not.
‘My confession for this election is if any Republican gets nominated, I’m going to move to Canada with my entire family. I already have my ticket.’
18. Whoopi Goldberg
Another host of The View has said she’d call it quits on America if Trump won. That would leave The View 2 empty seats to fill with 2 new empty heads.
‘I don’t want it to be America. Maybe it’s time for me to move, you know.’
19. Omari Hardwick
The Power actor would head to Italy.
I’ll move from Denver to Italy… If Donald Trump wins the presidency, I’m out.
20. Miley Cyrus
Miley ‘Wrecking Ball’ Cyrus needs no introduction. Embodying the trauma that can occur to child actors, the former Hannah Montana star turned pan-sexual pop star has been an avid Hillary supporter.
‘My heart is broken into a 100000 pieces…I am moving if this is my president! I don’t say things I don’t mean!’
21. Ruth Bader Ginsburg
The uber-liberal currently sitting on the US Supreme Court has been an irritant to many Republicans. She has said she would head to the other side of the world. Unbeknownst to Ginsberg, this has been a wish of Republicans since the day Bill Clinton appointed her.
‘I can’t imagine what the country would be with Donald Trump as our president… Now it’s time for us to move to New Zealand.’
22. Amy Schumer
Schumer, who is listed as a comedian on Wikipedia, because we at ClashDaily don’t understand what her career actually is supposed to be (much like Lena Dunham,) said she’d head to Spain maybe.
‘I will need to learn to speak Spanish because I will move to Spain or somewhere… It’s beyond my comprehension if Trump won. It’s too crazy.
23. Katie Hopkins
ClashDaily readers should remember Katie, she’d rather be grabbed by the p*ssy than goverened by one! The British columnist said she’s heading to the Land of the Free under President Trump.
