It finally happened. Fidel Castro kicked the bucket.
Most people can make the world a better place by entering it. Others, do so by leaving it. Fidel Castro is the latter.
History has shown us what kind of a man Castro was.
However much our pro-socialist politicians and celebrities may want to cozy up to Castro and his legacy he was NOT a good guy.
When people defend him and his legacy, we learn more about the person defending him than about the man himself.
They forget — or never knew — about the work camps and prisons where at one point over 30,000 political prisoners (including religious minorities and homosexuals) suffered beatings and starvations.
It’s hard to keep up with the champagne socialist’s morality code. Is it GOOD to support identity-groups causes … minority religions, homosexual rights etcetera? Or is it GOOD to celebrate people who starve, beat, imprison and kill such people?
Because some of our champagne socialists are sad at the passing of Fidel Castro. These are generally the same people wearing the Che shirts. (Like Kaepernick! And so many ignorant hipsters.) #WrongSideOfHistory
The truth about Che now has its boots on. He helped free Cubans from the repressive Batista regime, only to enslave them in a totalitarian police state worst than the last. He was Fidel Castro’s chief executioner, a mass-murderer who in theory could have commanded any number of Latin American death squads, from Peru’s Shining Path on the political left to Guatemala’s White Hand on the right.
…Cuba is a police state and Che was its co-founder. Cubans “love” him the same way Romanians “loved” Nicolae Ceausescu and East Germans “loved” Berlin Wall architect Erich Honecker.
You know what happens to Cubans who display open hatred of Che?
They get arrested.
When he was still alive, they were executed or herded into slave-labor camps.
So yeah, everyone “loves” him. It’s required by law. Woe to those who disobey State Security.
This is the regime the Left loves and celebrates. The ‘leader’ and the ‘folk hero’. Together they led an uprising to knock over one unpopular government to replace it with one that LITERALLY enslaved its own citizens.
Ah yes… witness the ‘Progress’ of ‘progressivism’. (But that literacy rate though!)
The man is dead. Good riddance. Fidel will finally be answerable for what he has done to a Judge he can neither bribe or bully.
We will mark his passing with one of our favorite Castro moments caught on film. His iconic…
Pity the sad champagne socialists. Like Michael Moore. Sean Penn. Kaepernick. Obama. For them, it’s a sad day. But for the rest of us?
So long Fidel, and take your loser brother with you.
