LGBT MUSLIM Student Inspires PETITION … To FIRE Conservative PROF

Protesting students love to be ‘part of a cause’. Until they meet resistance. Then they call for a rescue. Usually at the expense of someone’s rights. Read on.

Professor Mike Adams, a Conservative who has been a ClashDaily contributor (Columns here) and has already won ONE Free Speech court case, is now the target of a petition to have him removed as a professor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

The Change.org petition has over 2000 signatures.

The Hit Piece by Cosmo might have something to do with that. The ‘dispassionate’, ‘fact-based’, and ‘objective’ article may actually tip their ‘subtle’ biases in the very first paragraph.

Mike Adams, a criminology professor at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a self-described “free speech advocate [and] pro-life speaker,” has been posting hate speech against the LGBTQ community throughout his tenure at the college. He also named a student he’d allegedly never spoken to before as a jihadist in a blog post earlier this year.

Wisely, the University has thus far affirmed his right to free speech. The COURTS helped them understand that he does not forfeit such rights just because he happens to be a professor.

“At this point, the university has not found evidence that Dr. Adams has improperly released any private or confidential information related to the student, or violated the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). There is no evidence of unlawful discrimination by Dr. Adams toward this student in UNCW’s working, living, or learning environment, per the university’s harassment prevention policy. Finally, Dr. Adams’s conduct and written material do not contain any evidence of a true threat toward this or any other student.” — DailyBeast

Key the complaint is that one student, named by ‘The College Fix‘ as Nada Merghani, did not like the fact that Mike Adams named her in an article he wrote. In the College Fix article, Nada Merghani mentioned Secret Service giving her and her family special attention. She says it was after this FaceBook Post:

“Expect to see me at the Trump rally on Tuesday. Y’all are not prepared for what I’m about to do,”

Considering one guy had actually tried to pull a gun on Trump by this point (This happened in early August), they take such comments pretty seriously.

But she’s a Social Justice Warrior. Here’s a little more about her.

Had the agency known the person they suspected of making terrorist threats was 19-year-old Nada Merghani, a high-achieving LGBT and social-justice activist at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington, they might have approached her differently.

Especially after learning that the Sudanese refugee was packing a voice recorder.

The social media post that triggered the scrutiny of the Secret Service is landing Merghani in hot water with some of Trump’s fans, who have sent her and her fellow activists disturbing messages.

Now armed with the legal muscle of the American Civil Liberties Union, Merghani plans to sue her university for not providing her with with an armed guard in the face of credible threats from Trump supporters. –College Fix

It isn’t like she’s even doing this anonymously, to protect her private identity. Her Facebook response is cited in the College Fix Article.

Professor Adams weighed in on the article by the College Fix with an article of his own. Mentions the reasonableness of concern at the above-mentioned statement. Mentions her by name (horror of horrors, since her name was ALREADY part of the public record with respect to this incident), and mentions previous interaction he has had with her — a loud, obnoxious ongoing attempt at disrupting a peaceful demonstration in which Dr. Adams was a participant.

He criticized her and incoherent. This s because position as both Muslim and LBGT advocate are philosophically in conflict with each other. Read… ‘incoherent’. Islam takes a dim view of homosexuality. Feel free to look it up. Try Googling ‘gays’ + ‘tall buildings’

He used tools to which the Left is unacquainted — called ‘humor’ and ‘satire’.

When we see melodramatic displays and cries for attention, we don’t call them to be artificially silenced — that would be an affront to free speech.

No, instead, we answer free speech with MORE free speech. We just refute ridiculous ideas and laugh at those who promote them.

The Social Justice Warrior’s response to free speech being answered with other free speech?

They call for authorities to silence it.

In case you’re not too swift? That’s called Authoritarianism.

Authoritarianism fits neatly into some parts of the world. But NOT America.

Share if you think students should NEVER be given the power to make ANY HR decisions.
