Rosie O’Donnell, Debra Messing, and others have joined an ‘anti-fascist’ group that recently took out a full-page ad in the NY Times calling for a ‘month of resistance’ leading up to Trump’s Inauguration.
The group, Refuse Facism, whose co-founder is none other than
domestic terrorist Obama supporter, Bill Ayers. You recall that Obama began his 2008 Presidential Campaign at the house of Bill Ayers, former Weather Underground domestic terrorist.
Shockingly, Ayers & Co. aren’t really keen on the incoming Administration. They’ve decided to do
wreak havoc protest.

No! In the Name of Humanity We Refuse to Accept a Fascist America!
Donald Trump, the President-elect, has assembled a regime of grave danger. Millions of people in the U.S. and around the world are filled with deep anxiety, fear, and disgust. Our anguish is right and just. Our anger must now become massive resistance—before Donald Trump is inaugurated and has the full reins of power in his hands.
Should we fail to rise with determination and daring in our millions now to stop this, the consequences for humanity will be disastrous. We, the undersigned, know in the depths of our beings, the catastrophe that will befall the people of the world should the Trump/Pence regime assume full power.
From the NY Times ad:
We therefore call for a month of resistance that reaches a crescendo by the January 20th 2017 Inauguration…
…By any definition, Donald Trump is a fascist. He has put together a regime who will carry out this program, and worse.
Fascism is a strong word. It is a very serious thing. It has direction and momentum that must be stopped before it becomes too late.
Fascism foments and relies on xenophobic nationalism, racism, misogyny, and the aggressive re-institution of oppressive “traditional values.” Fascism feeds on and encourages the threat and use of violence to build a movement and come to power. Fascism, once in power, essentially eliminates traditional democratic rights.
No election, whether fair or fraudulent, should legitimize this. “Reaching across the aisle” only legitimizes that which is illegitimate. If you work with fascists you normalize the road to horror. You cannot try to “wait things out.” Those who lived through Nazi Germany and sat on the sidelines, looking on as Hitler demonized, criminalized, and eventually rounded up one group after another, became shameful collaborators with monstrous crimes.
Don’t Conciliate…Don’t Accommodate…Don’t Collaborate!
The Trump Regime Must and Can Be Stopped Before It Starts!
It’s a good thing they’re not using any fear-mongering. Because that would be wrong.
Don’t you love the ‘aggressive re-institution of oppressive “traditional values”‘ line?
As though Progressives don’t aggressively push their own agenda and we have Ivy League College kids saying it’s ok to have Female Genital Mutilation because it’s a ‘cultural practice’. Pushing aside traditional morality is the aggressive agenda of the left.
How about the:
Fascism feeds on and encourages the threat and use of violence to build a movement and come to power.
Because isn’t that what BLM is doing?
These folks have a right to protest, but it’s just a bit much to call Trump a ‘fascist’?
What about President Pen-and-a-Phone?
Did these same people have a problem with all his Executive Orders?
His war without Congressional approval?
His selling guns to the cartels?
His using the IRS to attack political enemies?
They were ok with all of that?
