Trump Action Week was the most productive week in the history of the Presidency. And President Trump will probably accomplish still more before this Saturday expires.
Last night I asked my 40-year-old son what he thought of our new President. Here is what he communicated: He likes President Trump – his action orientation – his determination to honor his campaign commitments – and his plain speaking. Unlike so many elitists with their highfalutin language, President Trump talks like an ordinary American about what he’s going to do and has done. The mainstream Leftist-media simply cannot cope with the mistakes they made during the campaign, and keep trying to justify their failure by over reporting every negative utterance – true or false – against our new President. It’s basically an “I told you so” defense. As for the Democrats, they appeared to be a bunch of elitist crybabies – focused on sanctuary cities – and out of touch with the majority of Americans.
Needless-to-say, my son has succinctly summarized the first five days of Trump Action Week. He’s tuned in, which is more than we can say about the mainstream media.
While President Trump spent his first week working in search of jobs, national security, domestic investment, fair trade, international relations, downsizing government, the Dems spent their time crying about trivial issues on the shoulders of their liberal friends in the Leftist media.
If readers watch the evening news, for instance, they have probably noticed how city mayors and officials speak-out in favor of their self-proclaimed Sanctuary City status.
Obviously, many of these politically-oriented city officials are attracting the favor of their immigrant – legal and illegal – constituencies. The fact that illegals may be breaking the law is apparently swept aside in consideration of their political interests.
As you’ve probably noted, the Leftist mainstream media, in most cases, is sympathetic to the position of these Sanctuary City politicians and administrators. To hell with Federal Law – they must support their political interests – their careers come first.
Of course, many small town citizens – the ones that supported the election of President Donald Trump – do not favor the illegal position of their larger, big city counterparts. They favor the intended protection of existing Federal Law. Unfortunately, the mainstream media does not reflect the majority opinion in the USA.
Additionally, I think the majority of Americans are fed up with the anti-Trump demonstrations. These Leftist, Democrat crybabies simply cannot get used to the idea that they no longer have control of the White House or Congress. Since they cannot govern – they intend to prevent President Trump from doing so. They attack, distort, riot on practically every issue. This is not the way a great country behaves.
At last we have a political leader who works and puts America first. We need to give him our full and active support!
