The American MSM has a twisted approach to the world. Judging what is newsworthy, and deciding how stories are treated appear bizarre.
Consider for example that coverage of police misbehavior (a rarity) is extensive, but in depth coverage of our growing crime problem is virtually ignored. Another example, enormous time is spent “covering” and advancing the gun control movement, but shootings in Chicago and other cities, perpetrated by criminals using handguns, is a story that gets a line or two, here and there.
The dubious theory of man-made global warming is advanced with religious fervor, and anyone with a dissenting voice is hounded as an enemy of man and nature. The media will go crazy covering the resignation of Gen. Michael Flynn, but yawned when Obama shoveled $33 Billion to Iran, part of that delivered in cash and gold in the dead of night. Terrorists worldwide commit the most horrific atrocities on a daily basis, killing and maiming thousands of people monthly, for years, but our reporters ignore that and get hysterical about waterboarding three people in order to save thousands of innocent lives.
Another example of our twisted journalism: millions of illegal aliens break the law coming to this country. Many of them are either criminals, or terrorists, or they have no interest in becoming naturalized, all of it creating various crises and putting citizen lives at risk. Where is the coverage focused? The focus is trying to convince Americans that opposing all this illegality is somehow racist, and anyone suggesting common sense and appropriate law enforcement is a Nazi.
We face economic catastrophe thanks to insurmountable, monstrous debt incurred by corrupt politicians for decades. When was the last time you saw any coverage of this crisis? Sixty million babies murdered in the womb since 1973, and the national conscience is so dulled, no one in media even notices, but let some cowboy accidentally kill a tortoise in the Nevada desert and the media goes berserk.
But the height of the insanity is ignoring the growing threat of a nuclear exchange thanks to Iran, North Korea, Pakistan, Russia and others, preferring instead to lead with transgender access to women’s bathrooms. American journalism has become as twisted and bizarre as the Far Left loons it serves and promotes, yet Media Moguls and Talking Heads express surprise they are held in such low esteem.
So much for perception and precision in the public press, and so much for journalistic ethics, “in the public interest.”
