WOW! The Transformation Of This FORMER Porn Star Is What One Calls … ‘BIBLICAL’

She USED to make $30,000 a month as a porn star and lived in Malibu. Now she’s living a COMPLETELY different life.

Crystal Bassette has left the porn industry, gone to college and has trained to become a paralegal and a Pastor.

She’s also happily married to a Pastor, David. The couple founded their own church — appropriately-named New Beginnings Christian Life in Fulton, New York.

Crystal Bassette, from Clay, New York, earned $300,000 a year as porn actress Nadia Hilton, starring in over 100 X-rated titles over 10 years.

But the mother-of-three put an end to her hedonistic lifestyle after she found God and started attending church, where she met her husband David, 26, a pastor.

The 33-year-old has since graduated from college and trained to become a pastor. She and David now preside over their own church in New York.

Crystal said: ‘It’s definitely the ultimate change. It’s going from one extreme to the next. I had to get away from this whole life.’

Crystal fell pregnant with her eldest son Justin at 16. Determined to give him the best start in life, she moved from her home in North Carolina to Hollywood, California, and started modelling and dancing to pay rent.

It wasn’t until she was introduced to an adult film agent a few years later that she signed up to her first porn film, enticed by the promise of earning $30,000 a month.

But her first shoot, at a house in Malibu, left Crystal feeling traumatised.

‘I remember after the scene, I sat in the shower for about two hours crying,’ Crystal said. ‘Then I stopped after that shoot and didn’t go back for about one month.

‘I ended up going back to it again and that’s when I was numbing myself through taking pain medicine and
drinking alcohol to get through the scene.’

She said: ‘I just lived for myself and my son and didn’t really think about the consequences of making films and dancing and everything.

‘I started to become an object. I wouldn’t walk outside my house without showing cleavage, having a belly shirt on and high heels. It was like had to constantly look like the sex symbol.’

Several life-changing events – including a terrifying car accident in May 2014 – made Crystal realise she wanted to start on a new path.

She ended a volatile relationship and sought refuge in religion.

She said: ‘The day I was saved, I felt like the preacher was just speaking to me directly.

‘It was like he was preaching to only me and you know that day I felt God was talking to me through his preaching and everything he said felt right.

‘I got down on my knees and was just praying to God to just release me from everything and my mom was there and my sister came over and were just all crying. And that was the day I got saved.’

Looking back, Crystal says that it was the sexual abuse she suffered as a child that led her into the porn industry.

Crystal and David hope that their story will inspire others.

David said: ‘What I would like people to take away from us is that God can forgive you no matter what past you come from. I hope it encourages everybody else to do the same, to realise that money and fame isn’t what it’s about.’

Crystal added: ‘I look back at my past now and you know I can’t say that I really regret anything because it has made me who I am today.

‘It’s like if I grew up as a teacher, I probably wouldn’t be helping people now. I probably would be completely different.

‘My past made me who I am today and God has changed my life completely.’

This is a transformation of Biblical porportions.

Crystal was in an industry that literally abuses women for profit. If this weren’t so, she wouldn’t have to dull the ache with drugs and alcohol.

Don’t judge a book by its cover.

By outward appearances, Crystal was living the high life. She had money and was providing for her son. On closer inspection, she hated what she was doing but didn’t see a way out.

Fortunately, Crystal did find the way out — through Christ.

With support from her family and hearing the good news of God’s love has transformed this woman’s life.

There is hope and restoration in Christ — for anyone.
