LMAO: Hipsters Can Buy ‘FAKE MUD’ Jeans Now For $425 From Nordstrom

Do people ACTUALLY buy these?

What are they thinking?

‘It’s just $425.

And it’s got fake mud all over them.

What. A. Deal.

At that price how could you not boy them?’

Mike Rowe, of ‘Dirty Jobs’ mocked the jeans on Facebook.

Nordstrom has come under fire for selling a pair of $425 jeans stained with fake mud – apparently geared towards customers who enjoy distressed denim but don’t feel like actually getting dirty.

Television host Mike Rowe flagged up the pair of jeans on Facebook Monday, igniting a social media firestorm.

The pants, which come from New York-based luxury denim brand PRPS, are described on Nordstrom’s website as embodying ‘rugged, Americana workwear that’s seen some hard-working action’.

Nordstrom’s description also boasts about the jeans’ ‘crackled, caked-on muddy coating that shows you’re not afraid to get down and dirty’.

But this sales pitch did little to impress Rowe’s fans on Facebook. Instead, they were prompt to point out that there is a quicker way to acquire broken-in jeans: actually doing manual work while wearing them.

The host himself conceded that distressed denim does have its charms, but explained that the trend had gone too far for his tastes.

‘I understand the appeal of buying broken-in jeans. I mean really, who has time these days to wait for a pair of jeans to naturally fade?’ he wrote.

‘I also understand the different cuts. Might as well get something that fits and feels comfortable.

‘But they lost me years ago with their various stages of “distress”. The stone wash and the acid wash the rinsed wash and the bleached wash… And they really lost me when they started tearing holes in them on purpose.’

These jeans are completely ridiculous!

Why pay $425 to look like you do hard, dirty work — when you could buy regular jeans and just actually do hard, dirty work in them.

What do YOU think of them?

Let us know in the comments.

We think we know the kind of folks that would buy these jeans.

They’re the ones that could really use this more than a pair of $425 ‘dirty’ jeans:

ClashDaily.com’s, Editor-In-Chief, Doug Giles addresses our nation’s abysmal wussification in his NEW book …

The Effeminization Of The American Male
by Doug Giles

Doug Giles, best-selling author of Raising Righteous And Rowdy Girls and Editor-In-Chief of the mega-blog, ClashDaily.com, has just penned a book he guarantees will kick hipster males into the rarefied air of masculinity.

That is, if the man-child will put down his frappuccino; shut the hell up and listen and obey everything he instructs them to do in his timely and tornadic tome.

In The Effeminization Of The American Male, Giles takes ‘Crispin’ from the unaccomplished, prissy and dank corridors of ‘Wussville’ up the steep, treacherous and unforgiving trail that leads to ‘Mantown.’

“Secretly, everybody’s getting tired of political correctness, kissing up. That’s the kiss-ass generation we’re in right now. We’re really in a p*ssy generation.” – Clint Eastwood

This is definitely one of the most politically incorrect books to ever hit the market.

It will most certainly offend the entitled whiners, but it will also be a breath of fresh air to young males who wish to be men versus hipster dandies.
