The media, the Democratic Party, Hillary Clinton and others have set up a loud wail about the Russian collusion that somehow compromised the 2016 presidential election.
They have also been whining loudly about James Comey’s dismissal by President Trump. They are indignant that he would just let the man go, even though the position was created by the previous president and Comey himself admitted that he served at the pleasure of the current, sitting president.
It is ironic how loudly the Democrats howled for Comey’s head with torches and pitchforks when he dared to cast verifiable shade at their darling, Hillary Clinton.
Comey has described himself as “not giving a hoot about politics”. Of course, if this was true, he would not have independently made the statement about not recommending charges for Hillary Clinton’s emails and mishandling of classified information.
That decision normally would have been made by senior FBI officials and the Department of Justice.
No FBI Director is at liberty to recommend legal process and certainly not the office that would publically make such an announcement. The FBI should collect evidence and turn that evidence over to the Department of Justice.
FBI officials who had spent countless hours on the Clinton email investigation were floored that Comey took it upon himself to lay out Clinton’s guilt, and announce, as if it was up to him, that he didn’t recommend that she be charged,
Comey denies that his conduct has affected the FBI’s morale, but the above mentioned article quotes a number of veteran FBI agents to say, “Comey has permanently damaged the bureau’s reputation for uncompromising investigations with his cowardly whitewash of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified information using an unauthorized private email server.”
Dennis V. Hughes, the first chief of the FBI’s computer investigation unit says, “The FBI has politicized itself, and its reputation will suffer for a long time. I hold Director Comey responsible.”
Retired FBI agent Michael Biasello also held Comey responsible. “Comey has single-handedly ruined the reputation of the organization.”
These two quotes prove that Trump was correct when he said the morale of the FBI was down and the department improperly run.
And what about that evidence? It should have been turned over to the Department of Justice, headed up by… none other than Attorney General, Loretta Lynch.
Loretta Lynch, who was compromised by her impromptu tarmac meeting with former president Clinton on her jet, and was conveniently forced to recuse herself from the Clinton investigation.
So, here is the fatigue-causing elements to the average American:
The media and the Democrats have a bone in their mouth like a terrier worrying a rat about the many delusional reasons why Clinton did not win. She didn’t win, period, move on.
The NSA has the transcript on the Clinton/Lynch conversation, but declines to release it for “national security reasons.”
Hmmm, that is interesting. How can a conversation about golf and grandkids compromise the nation?
Wouldn’t that one conversation go a LONG way into proving many things about Comey, the FBI and the DOJ?
Perhaps, it would indict both Clinton and Lynch?
This “Russian Collusion”, Clinton-losing debacle and Comey’s firing are becoming old news.
Here is the bottom line:
If you have solid evidence about a Trump/Russian collusion, let’s have it in print right now.
So far, there has been zero evidence that this is something other than what the Democrats are using to alleviate their conscience about their own very poor performance and raking Bernie Sanders over the coals.
Clinton lost because she was a flawed, elitist candidate, get over it.
Comey, the email scandal, and his firing could probably be resolved by one or two of the NSA files. They are recording everyone, so let’s hear it live on television.
Then shut your mouth and move on. You are wasting the taxpayer’s money with this junk.
Stop whining and obstructing progress and let the President do what the people sent him to do.
