Is Trump’s strong stance against terrorism helping Americans feel safer?
Here’s the new poll.
A majority of those surveyed are confident the U.S. government will protect its citizens against future terror-related attacks, according to a new poll.
Seventy percent of Americans trust the U.S. government “a great deal” or “a fair amount” in its ability to stave off an act of terrorism, a new Gallup poll revealed.
The new score is the first Gallup poll to measure Americans’ faith in the government’s ability to protect them from such attacks since President Trump took office.
The poll, conducted on June 7-11, comes shortly after two terror-related attacks took place in the United Kingdom in May and June. The margin of error is plus or minus 4 points.–Read More
Is it because we have a President again who believes in the Rule of Law?
Becuase our agencies aren’t being instructed to put their highest priority on being PC?
Compare that to the priorities of the previous President. President whats-his-face. That guy whose legacy is fast becoming a historical footnote fit for the ash heap.
Mr Bolden said: “When I became the Nasa administrator, he [Mr Obama] charged me with three things.
“One, he wanted me to help reinspire children to want to get into science and math; he wanted me to expand our international relationships; and third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science, math, and engineering.”
He added: “It is a matter of trying to reach out and get the best of all worlds, if you will, and there is much to be gained by drawing in the contributions that are possible from the Muslim [nations].” – read more
Of course, the fact that Americans are NOT in the same position as the sitting ducks citiznens of Europe probably helps.
There’s a good chance that any terrorist fool enough to start something in America — with the exception of a few specified locations — will be met with the wrath of an armed populace who will not hesistate to put down a rabid dog.
