Oh no! CNN might have to actually go dig up some real stories now. But do they remember HOW?
In the Obama days, they would collectively smile and nod, reporting the same Obama-friendly stories everyone else was reporting. About how good Obama’s economic policy was, and how bad Global Warming Climate change is.
When a Republican is in office, it’s bad news all the time. Discredit him. Turn the nation against him.
If anyone thought that CNN was actually motivated by journalistic integrity, please allow us to respond in a CNN producer’s own words:

Acosta is heated that he’s not getting White House video:
The White House’s continued refusal to answer reporters’ questions on camera had journalists steamed on Monday at an off-camera briefing where only audio was allowed and was barred from broadcast until the conclusion of the session.
CNN’s Jim Acosta was especially angry with White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer, and let him have it during the gaggle that another reporter noted was a ‘drastic shift’ from past precedent yet appears to be the ‘new normal.’
‘Why are the cameras off, Sean, why did you turn them off? Can you just give us an answer to that?’ he asked. ‘Can you tell us why you turned the cameras off? Why are they off?’ —More
Why is he so heated?
Well, as we learned from the same video that gave us the CNN quote, above, we learned that CNN has been milking MILLIONS off that Russia story. Even throwing other stories that, in Obama’s day would be lead news, under the bus so they could keep pursuing this one.
Not having fresh video of someone nagging Spicer about what a monster Trump is? That costs CNN money. They might have to resort to — *gasp* — Reporting NEWS!
Did CNN actually BELIEVE these Russia stories? Nope.
The same video called the investigation bullsh-t. But who cares, right? It’s driving ratings and paying the bills.
Although, does seem a little hypocritical to complain about no cameras being allowed.
They tend to turn off their own cameras (or have ‘technical difficulties‘ or even cut off guests entirely) when the story doesn’t go their way, or they are called out as being ‘fake news’.
And that, of course, makes Acosta’s pinned tweet even funnier.
