Now that her death doesn’t serve ‘the cause’ will the media suddenly drop the story?
A seventeen-year-old girl killed in cold blood. It’s a horrible crime, no matter HOW you tell her story.

Early reports rushed to the ‘Islamophobia’ conclusion, and some even laid the brutal attack at the feet of Trump.
(And as always, until proven, everything that follows is only ‘alleged’.)

Because every bad news story HAS to involve Trump, now. For some reason.
But once cops started looking into the case, it wasn’t a disgruntled, white American hating on Islam.
For one thing, the guy who attacked her wasn’t even from here:
A 22-year-old man accused of killing a 17-year-old Muslim girl in Virginia on Sunday morning is an illegal immigrant from El Salvador, a spokesperson for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) tells The Daily Caller.
Whoops.

If an ‘undocumented’ guy murders a favored victim in America, it creates a dilemma with liberals.
Who gets to be the victim? Do they admit that the illegal immigrant was illegal, or do they minimize the murder of a seventeen-year-old girl?
That decision is easier when the victim is white.
You can tell by how reluctant the media is to tell the story of Trump’s Angel families, compared to how they tripped over themselves to cover the DNC’s ‘mothers of the movement‘.
But with TWO favored groups in conflict, it gets fuzzier.
Cops ruled this was road rage. Not Islamphobia.
Darwin was a guy with no respect for life. He abducted Nabra. Beat her to death with a bat. And dumped her body elsewhere.
The driver, Darwin Martinez Torres, a 22-year-old construction worker from Sterling, got into an argument with a teen on a bike and then drove his car over a curb, scattering the group of as many as 15 teens, police said.
He caught up with them a short time later in a parking lot and chased them with a baseball bat, striking 17-year-old Nabra Hassanen and then abducting her in his car, police said.
Martinez Torres assaulted Nabra a second time, in Loudoun County, before dumping her body in a pond next to his apartment complex, where it was discovered about 3 p.m. on Sunday, police said. The medical examiner ruled Monday that the girl died of blunt-force trauma to the head and neck. –read more
Why is their rush to blame Islamophobia a problem?
Because they are using this young lady’s death as a means to an end.
The same media that salivated over numerous hoax Islamophobia stories — some of them completely fabricated — splashed them over their front pages. Sometimes for days.
If there was no ‘islamophobia’ angle to this story, would they still have cared enough to tell her story?
Hopefully. She was a 17-year-old girl beaten to death, after all.
But what if it doesn’t push the narrative? Is her death STILL a story?
Is Nabra Hassanen a story they thought needed to be told, or is her death just another weapon they hoped to fling at Trump?
Becuase if that’s what’s motivating this story, that’s sad indeed.
