President Trump Tells Republicans, ‘Let ObamaCare Fail’ — Repeal It Now, Replace It Later
President Trump has a message for Republicans in Congress after the stalling of the Republican healthcare bill.
The way that the Republicans were handling this bill was just bizarre.
Republicans kept stuffing in more cash into it and adding in more regulations.
It was keeping the worst parts of ObamaCare and gave less freedom to the consumer.
Yo, Republicans, have you been under the thumb of Democrats for so long that you’ve forgotten what it means to be a Republican?
Here we all were thinking that all these years there was a fantastic plan just waiting to be proposed when Republicans had all three branches of government.
Well, President Trump is taking the reigns to say the hard thing.
When all else fails, kill it.
President Trump tweeted late Monday that Republicans should “just REPEAL” ObamaCare after two key Republican Senators announced they would not support the bill, ending any chance the bill had of passing the Senate.
Republican Senators Mike Lee, of Utah and Jerry Moran, of Kansas joined Senators Rand Paul, of Kentucky and Susan Collins of Maine. Republicans hold onto a 52-48 majority and the two senators’ opposition means the bill is effectively dead.
The President posted several tweets about the collapse of the Senate Healthcare Bill:

The Senate must go to a 51 vote majority instead of current 60 votes. Even parts of full Repeal need 60. 8 Dems control Senate. Crazy!

President Trump is right.
ObamaCare is an absolute disaster and it shouldn’t be the Republicans wearing that before the 2018 midterms.
It was a Democratic President with a Democratic majority Congress that passed the crap bill in the first place.
Of course, the ‘tolerant’ Democrats refused to even discuss negotiating changes to ObamaCare.
Because they wanted to preserve Barry’s legacy.
The rapid rise in premiums, the insurers pulling out of states, the rise in deductibles, and the introduction of ObamaCare that caused people who had healthcare coverage through their employer to suddenly lose it is enough to make even the Democrats want to look into a solution.
Even Mitch McConnell who has been soundly critiqued for his bungling of the Healthcare Bill is reflecting the President’s message:

Of course, the Democrats are thrilled.
The Associated Press reported that Democrats “could barely contain their glee.”
“This second failure of Trumpcare is proof positive that the core of this bill is unworkable,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York said. “Rather than repeating the same failed, partisan process yet again, Republicans should start from scratch and work with Democrats on a bill that lowers premiums, provides long term stability to the markets and improves our health care system.”

ObamaCare really, really needs to go.
So, let’s pull the plug on it, open up the markets, and give consumers choice again.

ObamaCare passed with no Republican support, and they’ve been wearing the ‘black hat’ of the bad guy ever since.
Maybe it’s time to show America why the damned thing needs to go.
