Wouldn’t want someone thinking they were failing in their social responsibilities of screaming like an idiot and making up BS accusations against the duly-elected President, or anything.
Well, she took it too far.
Only days after some dirtbag ran his car through a crowd of protesters, killing one, and wounding several others, Missouri Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal wished that Trump would be assassinated on her FB account.
The fact that it was her ‘private’ account was supposed to make it less egregious, somehow.
And then, according to GatwayPundit, she doubled down.
The people who actually survived such places, or have family members that did, won’t find that glib political grandstanding ‘cute’ or ‘excusable’.
And tweeting a picture of Auschiwitz to the first Jewish Governor of her state? What was she thinking? Or does she ever?
The picture of the gate of the camp includes the sign with the words, “Arbeit Macht Frei,” translated to “Work Sets You Free,” a slogan often found at the entrance of Auschwitz and other concentration camps. The train comment is in reference to the fact that many prisoners were transported to Nazi camps in that way.

Maybe she should stop, look in a mirror and think about where the REAL racism is coming from.
Especially when it’s coming from the political party that GAVE us the KKK, and DEFENDED slavery in the first place. And leveling it against the party that was created specifically because they wanted to ABOLISH slavery.

Just like Pelosi and others get away with baseless slander of everyone to the right of Lenin as racists, hateful, and (lately) responsible for the deaths of ‘millions’ of citizens for their opposition to their position on Health Care.

Lieutenant Governor Mike Parson says he can and will expel State Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal from the Missouri legislature if she doesn’t resign following comments made about President Trump on Facebook.
…“I have the ability and right to call on my fellow senators to have her expelled from the Missouri Senate, which I plan to do if she does not resign by the veto session.”
That veto session starts September 15, 2017. Once it does, senators would call for a special session to vote on Nadal’s expulsion. They would need a two-thirds majority of the vote to succeed. — Fox

I believe she should immediately resign from her position, as this is conduct not befitting of a State Senator or a Missourian,” said Lieutenant Governor Mike Parson. “I will not sit idly by and let this kind of behavior transpire in our state, especially from members of our government. As a veteran of the armed forces, I was personally offended that a person elected to represent Missourians would call for the assassination of our Commander-in-Chief,” Lieutenant Governor Parson said.
Maybe if more elected officials got called out for behavior that undermines our actual democratic process, we could return to having a (semi) functional government again.
