A video of a car speeding towards the President’s motorcade is getting a lot of attention. Here’s what you need to know.
With the vitriol and animosity that some have had towards President Trump, and the many, many calls for his assassination, was this an attempt to take him out in broad daylight?
That’s what the YouTube video claims.
The title is, ‘Vehicle attempts to ram Presidential Motorcade in Springfield, MO’.
The video shows the car coming out of the woods just as the Presidential motorcade is passing by.
“Oh my gosh! Look at that car that just came out of the woods,” says one man watching as Trump’s limo passes by.
“That car right there just drove out of the woods!” he says.
A short time later, a car with flashing lights makes a U-turn to check on the car and its occupants.
The police, however, say that it wasn’t a deliberate attack.
“Springfield police said the woman’s brakes malfunctioned as she was coming out of the Bass Pro call center and warehouse on Kearney St.”
No intent of harm or disruption to motorcade.

It’s not like that sedan would’ve done much to the President’s Limo anyway:
But ramming the presidential limo wouldn’t exactly work, anyway. “The Beast,” as it’s known, weighs 20,000 pounds and has armor plating 8 inches thick. Its doors weigh as much as those on a Boeing 757 airplane. The windows are five inches thick and bulletproof windows and the bus-size Goodyear tires are Kevlar-reinforced and can car run even when flat.

So, before you spread things all over the internet, make sure you fact check.
There’s a lot of Fake News out there on many sides.
Yes, on many sides.
There’s really no need to fabricate any of it.
