A couple of uniformed officers were having lunch and were shocked when they saw what was on the receipt.
It was just supposed to be a quick bite at Pieology in Torrence, CA, while on shift for these two cops, but nothing is easy now that the anti-cop rhetoric is being amped up on the Left.
It seems that a cop can’t even get a meal without a side order of hate courtesy of the server.
A pizzeria worker has been fired after writing ‘f*** the cops’ on a police officer’s check.
The two uniformed officers were stunned after discovering the foul-mouthed comment on their receipt after stopping for lunch at Pieology in Torrance, CA.
Despite noticing the profanity, the officers left a tip for the server, who was only fired by the pizza chain after one of the cop’s wives posted a photograph of the bill online.
Wow! They still gave a tip after noticing the ‘F-ck the cops’ note.
That is incredible. It’s more than I would’ve done.
The wife of one officer posted the receipt on Facebook with an urge to boycott the restaurant. The post quickly went viral with more than 9,000 shares and over 2,000 comments since being posted yesterday.
It looks like the police have more supporters than detractors.
The call for a boycott and the viral post got the attention of the Pieology higher-ups.
They released a statement saying that they had fired the employee.
In a statement, the pizzeria said: ‘The actions of this employee do not in any way reflect the thoughts of Pieology.
‘We are taking swift and serious action to rectify the situation, including terminating the offending employee.’
It also added that the chain would offer a 50 per cent discount to all uniformed service members.
