Trump Ridicules The Left Over FAILED ‘Russian Collusion’ Witch Hunt And It’s PERFECT

Nothing and nobody will be wiping the grin off his face anytime soon.

Could the fact that the President is this unassailably happy be part of what’s eating the media up about this Mueller report?

He’s just letting his critics stew in their own juices.

‘I just want to tell you America is the greatest place on earth. The greatest place on earth,’ the president said. He gave a thumbs’ up as he walked off Marine One.

A senior administration official told DailyMail.com that the president is thrilled with the findings from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.

‘I haven’t seen him this happy in months. It’s like election night again,’ the person said.

Much to the consternation of the left, President Trump remained silent on Twitter immediately following the news that the Mueller Report had been sent to the Department of Justice.

On Sunday, however, when Attorney General Barr was set to release his summary, he broke his silence.

The innocuous tweet was hit by a number of leftists who seemed to be upset that after more than 2,800 subpoenas, 500 search warrants, 500 witnesses, $25 million dollars and 675 days,  and the ‘we need to trust Mueller’s findings no matter what they are’ — it was all a big nothingburger.

The president had already boasted that Mueller’s 22-month Russia probe ended with a ‘complete exoneration,’ slamming the entire operation as ‘an illegal takedown that failed’ and saying he hopes ‘somebody is going to be looking at the other side.’

‘There was no collusion with Russia, there was no obstruction and none whatsoever and it was a complete and total exoneration. It’s a shame that our country had to go through this. To be honest, it’s a shame that your president has had to go through this,’ Trump said in West Palm Beach, Florida before he boarded Air Force One to return to Washington D.C.

Trump called the concept that his 2016 campaign aides would collude with agents of Russia the ‘most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard,’ and claimed the Mueller probe was illegal, an argument he has long made.

‘Before I even got elected it began. And it began illegally. … This was an illegal takedown that failed, and hopefully somebody is going to be looking at the other side. So a complete exoneration, no collusion, no obstruction,’ Trump emphasized.

The Special Counsel’s report didn’t include a conclusion ‘one way or the other’, but left the decision on whether or not to charge the President with Obstruction of Justice to the Attorney General. When he gave his report, AG Barr said that the decision to not charge the President was made jointly with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who can hardly be called a ‘pro-Trump’ partisan. He was the one that had hand-picked Robert Mueller as the Independent Counsel. Rosenstein was also allegedly willing to wear a wire to covertly record the President without his knowledge and had conversations with Andrew McCabe about the possibility of invoking the 25th Amendment. There had been much speculation post-midterms that Rosenstein was out, but perhaps this is precisely why he was kept on.

Barr explained it was a joint decision between him and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein – who was in charge of Mueller’s investigation during the majority of its existence – not to charge the president.

He explained that the two men concluded ‘the investigation is not sufficient to establish that the President committed an obstruction-of-justice offense.’

He wrote in his letter to Congress that long-standing Justice Department tradition of not indicting a sitting president had nothing to do with the decision.

‘Our determination was made without regard to, and is not based on, the constitutional considerations that surround the indictment and criminal prosecution of a sitting president,’ he wrote.

President Trump resumed his Tweeting, again with a mostly innocuous tweet:

Then he started to get the message out:

Don’t worry, the Left is already hard at work moving the goalposts.

The same people tht tried to demand unconstitional legislation preventing Trump from shutting down the Mueller investigation because it was ‘so important’ that we get these findings… is now dismissing the results that exonerate him as inconsequential.

So why is he so happy? Is it because he’s been vindicated? Or because the authorities are now free to REALLY look into the people responsible for starting these allegations in the first place?
