DELICATE BALANCE OF NATURE: Killer Whale Flips Sea Lion 20 ft In The Air

Fishermen in Ketchikan, Alaska were witness to an astounding spectacle of predator on prey.

A sea lion in that same area was witness to its impending death via a vomit-inducing spiral through the air twenty feet above the ocean.

Anglers on a charter boat from Anglers Adventures were fishing on August 15 when they saw a sea lion desperately trying to avoid a killer whale by swimming under their boat. The pinniped’s plan worked well until the boat decided to leave. Shortly after the crew put the boat in gear the killer whale tossed the sea lion like a beach ball at concert.

Nature’s tough…But it’s sure as hell fun to watch!
