Filmmaker Michael Moore took to Huffington Post Live on Thursday to offer a few words of advice: Start practicing the words “President Romney.” It’s all about the money, he said — and Mitt Romney is going to raise more than President Barack Obama.
“Mitt Romney is going to raise more money than Barack Obama. That should guarantee his victory,” Moore said, later adding, “I think people should start to practice the words ‘President Romney.’”
Don’t be fooled by the Republicans, he warned:
To assume that the other side are just a bunch of ignoramuses who are supported by people who believe that Adam and Eve rode on dinosaurs 6,000 years ago
is to completely misjudge the opposition. They not only are smart, they are dedicated, they are disciplined, they have the courage of their convictions, they say exactly what they think.
Voter turnout is key, and the GOP have set up a machine, and the money behind that machine produces results for them, Moore said, noting that it’s “pretty scary.” There have always been extremely wealthy people, always will be — but they don’t have to pull the strings if “we” don’t let them, he said.
