Too Many in the Dark re Obama’s History and His Economy
Ignorance abounds – and the Liberal-Left media share much of the blame.
Shame on them. In 2008, they enabled Barack Obama to become the President of the most powerful nation in world history ― by failing to properly scrutinize and report on this guy’s background, competence, qualifications, character and track record.
During the past four years, much of the truth about Obama has emerged. His two “biographies” have been exposed as a lot of fiction ― perhaps not even written by him. For example, he’s really not an African American – but mixed race: a bi-racial black and white man who grew-up in Indonesia and Hawaii. He never lived in a black neighborhood and/or in poverty. He lived in upscale neighborhoods in Indonesia, Hawaii, and Hyde Park (an exclusive Chicago suburb). He was raised by his grandparents. His grandmother was the vice president of a bank, his grandfather a salesman. He commuted 60 minutes to the South Chicago black ghetto, where he purports to have worked on behalf of the poor. He worked as a lawyer representing wealthy clients (some now convicted criminals) in Chicago. He was not a tenured Law School Professor at the University of Chicago, but rather an adjunct professor, with the title of “Senior Lecturer.”
Contrary to Michelle Obama’s recent convention speech, Obama was not at his mother’s bedside while she was dying. And his mother’s illness was covered by insurance, contrary to his representation while promoting ObamaCare.
Obama claims to be a Christian convert and follower of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright ( an anti-white, anti-American, Liberation Theologian in the tradition of James Hal Cone.) While living in Indonesia, he claimed to be a Muslim and still seems highly sympathetic to nations and people of that faith.
One of his first actions after becoming President was an “apology tour” of Middle Eastern countries, where he bowed to the king of Saudi-Arabia and apologized for the historical activities of the USA over the decades.
His lack of executive leadership experience and incompetence should have been obvious to investigative reporters from the start. But the Liberal-Leftists never wanted to find out. They wanted America to elect its first “African-American” President.
Unfortunately, Obama never ran anything before becoming President of the United States. He was a schoolboy community organizer, teacher, lawyer, and Chicago politician.
Of course, it has become totally apparent from his perch in the White House that he is an incompetent Chief Executive and Commander in Chief – way over his head. Book after book has documented his lack of understanding and failure of leadership – his “leadership from behind” approach – his absence from the Oval Office – his lack of attendance at critical meetings – his time on the golf course and basketball court.
He is often accused of being lazy, inattentive, and opportunistic — taking full advantage of the good life provided by his position. For example, his wife has taken 17 vacations requiring enormous government expenditures during his tenure. Even his children have taken extravagant vacations with friends.
Well, the facts are out. If you haven’t had time to read any of the books about Obama and his administration, the Washington Examiner has prepared a short and factual summary on Obama’s real background and history in 12 easy-to-read segments. It is a fact-based summary based on professional research. It will set the record straight for those who support Obama and/or those who are opposed to a second term. Only 15% of surveyed Democrats think economy is bad. 60% of Republicans feel it is bad. Family income declined over $4000 and wealth by 40%. Pass on. Inform responsible voters.
According to a recent Pew survey, only 15% of surveyed Democrats think the economy is bad. This was 30% last month. The survey reports 60% of Republicans feel the economy is bad.
Needless to say, there are a lot of uninformed people in our nation. Median family income has declined over $4000 since Obama became president. Household median wealth has decreased by over 39%. 23 million workers are unemployed or underemployed. Our nation’s unemployment has exceeded over 8% for the past 43 months. 47 million people are receiving food stamps. Over 100 million people are receiving government assistance of some sort – not counting Social Security or Medicare. The nation’s growth rate is less than 2% – not sufficient to sustain our job requirements, population growth, and Obama’s Entitlement Society.
The Obama Administration has operated without a budget for three years! Obama is borrowing $3.5 billion (3,500 x one-million dollars) a day to fund its operations and his Entitlement Society. Our national debt has increased from $10.6 trillion to over $16 trillion (16 million x one-million dollars) since Obama took office. He is planning to borrow another trillion dollars a year during his second term.
Also, the US dollar has declined over 6% since the Democrats took control of Congress in 2007. And the Federal Reserve has announced it plans to inject $40 billion a month (QE3) of new money into the mortgage market for as long as necessary to bring down unemployment. This means the dollar will continue to decline in purchasing power, i.e., prices will continue to go up.
Our children and our children’s children will be handed the bill for all of these excesses of the Obama Administration!
Yet (let me say it, again): only 15% of surveyed Democrats think the economy is bad.
Shame on Americans who feel the economy and culture are not in decline. Clearly, they are not paying attention, or they are listening to the Liberal-Leftist media who are covering-up for Obama and the irrational Liberal Democrat spenders. With all of our communication advances, there is simply no excuse for such ignorance. Even those on the dole should know better.
