Rick Warren To Speak At Georgetown University On Religious Freedom

Rick Warren GeorgetownOn Tuesday, February 12th, Rick Warren will be speaking at Georgetown University’s Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, & World Affairs. The event is sponsored by Timothy Shah, Associate Director of the Berkley Center, and he will also be joining Warren on stage. The southern California pastor has come out strongly against the Affordable Care Act (more commonly known as Obamacare) for what he calls infringements on religious liberties for religious healthcare providers.

Soon after Warren was invited to the inaugural invocation for President Obama’s first term, he began to grow sour against the president for his “unfriendly” and “infringing” legislations against religious liberties. Maybe that’s why he wasn’t invited for the second time around?
