Two Westboro Family Members Leave The Church

Written by Andres Ortiz on February 7, 2013

Megan and Grace Phelps-Roper, granddaughters of Westboro Baptist founder Fred Phelps, released a statement yesterday in which they announce their departure from the infamous Topeka ministry. In the statement they talk about how they never thought their lives would be apart from the Westboro congregation but suddenly everything changed, how they always wanted to do good for people. You can read their statement, titled Head Full Of Doubt/Road Full Of Promise, here:

Do you think they will be able to restore their reputation from what they previously did? How much “promise” do you think lies ahead for them?
